The Inland CA deer season has been over in my area for about three and a half weeks now, and these fellows have been confirmed as still bein' alive and kickin'. So I thought I would share some pics of my local neighbors. I usually keep an eye out for any wildlife around my house (deer, turkeys, coons, skunks, etc.). I knew it was going to be an interesting year when I saw this outside my livingroom window, about 6:00am one morning in June.

There are seven bucks in the pic (and one not).
As summer progressed they broke off into smaller groups, showing up in the cool of night.
These two turned out to be the largest of the group, and I eventually got a couple of nice pics of them in my front yard.
A big ole forkie

and a heavy 3 X 4

By the way my house is only on 2 acres, but we are one of the only properties nearby that has a well. So we have what these fellows want, feed, and water.
I can't wait to see what the big guys will look like next year!
Hope you enjoy the pics,
happy shootin' to ya,
OkR
