Emptied out the gun safe to check um out
I know this is not near as impressive as many of you alls collections, but I’m proud of it. Not near as many levers as I would like. I’m working on that. My wife has reached what we call the “C.G.M.â€

You hit it on the head. It shoots great as long as you use real black and not subs. You really have to keep the flash hole clean. I have some little brushes I found that work real well. If I run them through every couple of shots it will do great up to about 30 shots. Then I have to do a full clean.cutter wrote:Nice collection. Tell me about your flinter, is it a Traditions Kentucky? How do you like it?

gun collection
Thing is, about a collection like this, the value on every one of them has most likely increased since you've held them. I bought a 3 1/2 inch S&W model 27-2 back in 1991 in Rapid City for 280.00. I see them on the Broker now for 600, 700, 800, for nice like mine. How can you go wrong with these excellent firearms you have, nice job!!!
To hell with them fellas, buzzards gotta eat same as the worms.

That CGM thing is pretty common among wives! It seems their heads grow back, as mine has reached that point numerous times!

CGM
When Big 5 was my friend and mausers kept comming home with me it was great because they more or less looked the same
but when space became a problem that little trick went away
Nice collection.

Did they make those Kentucky flinters like that so you can tap the deer on
the shoulder to give 'em a sporting chance?
I would have to put a wheel on the buttstock so I could drag it through the
woods around my house
Very nice collection by the way

I'm using that same trick now, XDs, 10/22s and levers all look the same to the wife. Fortunately I haven't ran out of room yet.model55 wrote:When Big 5 was my friend and mausers kept comming home with me it was great because they more or less looked the samebut when space became a problem that little trick went away

Very nice. I have 7 long guns in my safe with room for 3 more my wife says that is the limit. Unfortunately I already have 2 more at my dads house that I need to pick up from him the next time I go back and visit on leave
. She hasnt set a limit on hand guns yet though
