I'm kind of new to the lever action thing. I have a Winchester 94 1964 30-30 I got from my wifes grandfather, but I just never shot it much because its more one of those family arloom (SP) and I never really like the 30-30 catridge. But this weekend I pick up a Puma 45LC Brass receiver, blue octgon barrel, black wood. After shooting a box of Black Hills cowboy loads out of this gun, I'm in love with it and I want another one in 38/357
And I wanted to say howdy to everyone.
Starting to like this lever action stuff

I'm still putting away $25 each Friday towards the purchase of my first levergun... a Marlin 1894C in .357. Unfortunately that won't happen until I finally move my wife from Canada down to Oklahoma in a couple of years (since I go home to her hometown of Sudbury when I'm not driving this ol' truck). The upside is that by then I'll also be able to buy a Ruger GP100 .357 at the same time.
