OT A good Labor Day

Post by TedH »

This Labor Day provided a rare opportunity for me and my family. It is only once a year at best, that the entire family is able to gather together at the homestead. We took this chance to capture a much needed updated family photo.

I was just tickled with the photo and had to share it.

Seated are my parents, then there is me and my five siblings, our spouses and 9 grandchildren, not counting another nephew that is due to join us in about two weeks that will make 10 grandchildren. I'm the handsome devil in the cap.

Excellent!

This will mean a lot to the youngest generation later on. I remember very fondly those special gatherings when I was growing up... :D

You may laugh at the idea now, but find some way to label who is who in the photo. I'm having a devil of a time sorting out such in some family portraits I've found. You might think it funny, but 50 years on people forget.
Sincerely,

Hobie

That is the way family should be. I'll say also to name and date the pictures. We find old ones that we can't date or name.
