OT - Animal Harvest

Post by deerwhacker444 »

.
Lets start a thread with nothing but pics of animals you've harvested over the years, trophy or not. Lets see all of em whether fin,fur or fowl. I'll start with a few that I've posted a while back but some might not have seen.

My first deer taken with a bow, it was a long time in the making

The last "Mature" buck I took with a muzzleloader.

I don't have many photos because I seldom take pictures of dead animals. Here's the 3 I have.

Hobie,

I like the picture of the flounder. I need to rig up my boat for flounder gigging this fall. Had some of my best times flounder gigging at night with good buddies!

Maybe I'm old and weird, but the term "harvest' seems like a political correct term to me. I have killed, or "taken" if you will, plenty of animals, but I can't ever recall "harvesting" one. We harvest the fruit and row crops that we grow, but wild animals aren't an agricultural product, so "harvesting" them doesn't work for me. :|
