Does the tongue of the carriage count as a lever?

I'm not a "new" member, but I count a confirmed 6 with a probable but unconfirmed 7th.

1 1899 Savage
1 1873 Win
1 1886 Carbine (I think)
2 1894 Rifles
1 unidentifiable

7th probable is also unidentifiable.

Great photo. History?

Third bravo from the left, with '94 and Mauser (and God knows what else) is Anglo. Bears a striking resemblance to my great uncle Dan Breen - a wild man from the Old Sod who was known to have been in Mexico before the Great War.

Looks like near Columbus,NM, and the Poncho Villa militia. A former student of mine showed me a picture that belonged to his great grandad that looked very similar.

Updated count:

From L to R:

Mdl 1894 Win Rifle
Mdl 1899 Savage Rifle
Mdl 1894 Win Rifle, 1/2 mag with sling
Mdl 1894 Win
Mdl 1873 Win Carbine

There is also another version of this pic with more of the top of the picture, and some to the right. I tried to save it but couldn't.
I also noticed the pouches the guys have. I wonder what they have in them? Ammo, corn dodgers, pretzels?
