Rebarrel???
I had a guy at work ask me today about his Win 94.
He said that it had been in a house fire and had gotten some damage. He goes on to tell me that he had a gunsmith re-blue it and whatnot, but he had some bad accuracy problems with it ever since.
I told him it might have a distorted barrel which would need to be replaced. It is a gun he wants to keep and doesn't mind spending the money to have the work done.
Is there anything else that would reak terror on accuracy after being exposed to exssevive heat? I am no expert and make no claims to be, therefore I am probably overlooking a few things.
Thanks,
Andy

Unless it actually burnt the wood off of it I doubt it got hot enough to weaken the barrel. More like the bore is the problem. Fire dried bores rust easily. If the bore is ok I would look at how it was reassembled. Loose parts hanging from a barrel aint good for accuracy.
