The most accurate and fun to shoot load in my Uberti 1873 is 34gr of Swiss 3F behind an RCBS 200gr FN cast 20/1. I can shoot up to 20 shots before it starts to lose accuracy and then a couple of passes with a moist Bore-Snake and it's ready to go again :) This load has been more accurate than any smokeless powder load I have tried yet.

7.0 gr of WW231 and a 200 gr lead bullet is good for period guns but I used to load my Win 92 with 24grs of 2400 and a jacketed 200gr SP.

My notes show Goex FFFg compressed 1/16 inch, Magnus 200gr RNFP .430. This was in the Ruger Vaquero I should have never sold, and should have bought back when given the chance.

All with 200gr cast bullets, 8grs Unique, 8.1grs of VV N340, or 5.5-7.0 grs of 231. All depends on which rifle/pistol. The Unique load shoots best across the board. This is firing all loads in all firearms, it does better than the other loads under the same circumstances

5.5gr Trail Boss with a cast 205gr.
Crawls out of the barrel at 855 fps but is deadly accurate and fast enough for the 100yd silhouettes.

8 grains of Unique...behind a 200 grain LFN, out of my '73 24 1/4" it'll do 1100 fps.
