9 MM Ammo Purchase today at.........................

Post by Boreman »

stopped at Wally World on a whim today running errands to check on ammo, they haven't had any for a long time.Lo and behold they had a good supply of Winchester 9MM in 100 round value packs for $19.97 a box.The clerk said the got cases of it yesterday and most of it went real quick.I bought 5 boxes and 2 other fellows were in line for some. I would guess it will all be gone buy tomorrow. BUT,at least they had some !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good score. I was at Wally World today and spotted two boxes (100ea) of 380 ammo. Never thought I would see that. My nephew is gonna be happy next week when I get it to him.

Bought a bx of Win. 115gr fmj range and target loads for my 9mm, as had to go redo my CCW test today. (have to do this every 2 yrs) After 3 hrs of listning to old Fred babble on finally got to the shooting part. Had a bunch of 115 gr fmj to pratice with. Got ready to qualify and loaded up the Win stuff. It was all over the papper. Grabbed the 115 gr and some 124gr and chopped the middle out of the target. Next time I go shooting gonna shoot up the Win. stuff and reload the brass with what I want.

That's amazing! Every place has been out of .380 ACP recently. I was checking for a friend, and a local dealer had some for $30 per 50 round box, limit 3. I bought the last 3 for him. The dealer was telling me that he saw the same boxes selling for $75 each at the local gun show the weekend before - and people buying them! I know he's right - the only other place I've seen them in the last month had them marked $60/box! Apparently the small-pistol stuff; .25 ACP, .32 ACP, and .380 ACP - stuff not used in military or law enforcement handguns - just isn't produced in near the quantities as 9mm, .40 S&W, .45 ACP, etc. Between the run on all things gun-related and the effort to supply small arms ammunition for the war, making these other cartridges has not been a priority for the major ammunition manufacturers.
