How to contact Paco?

Post by larry44 »

i sent a PM to Paco regarding an Acu'rzr order in the mail to him now and I don't know how often he logs on. Rather than post his email address which I'm guessing he doesn't want to make public can anyone who has it forward to him via email the PM I sent him? You can reply to me here, via PM or to my email at: larry44 at gmail.com.

Thanks!

You can e-mail Paco through the site. Just find him on the member list or look at a post of his and click on the e-mail icon. Not at all hard to do. He is NOT hiding from you.

Hobie:

Thanks for your reply...and for the  or I might have misunderstood. I took great pains in my post to not give the impression that I was annoyed, only anxious, to get my "change-order" in. I sent a check to Paco for my 2nd Acu'rzr before I even knew there was a leverguns.com forum. Except for the GunBlast article and the tool's website I didn't even know Paco was online anywhere. Neither the article or the order site gives any web email address or URL. I'm glad to learn that he is online!

IAC, either I'm not able to see what you see or I'm badly missing something. There is no "email" icon for me to click - I looked for one. Visible to me for both Paco's posts and in his profile is only a "PM" icon, which I used to send the message. (Or at least I _thought_ I sent the PM. It seems I have it stuck in the Outbox - which shows 1 - and there's nothing in the Sent box. This forum style is somewhat different than others I'm used to. I can't find any way to designate a "To:", even though I originally clicked to PM Paco.)

I just want to reach him before he fills an order that might very well duplicate what I already have, that's all.

Here's what I sent him:

Paco:

I have a possible change on an order I sent. I now have the Maxi #3 and sent yesterday an order for the .22Short; I included payment of $58 + $3 for shipping. I want to use this 2nd tool for forming CB shorts to shoot in a '71 Ruger Super Bearcat for my 7-year-old daughter. Is the .22Short tool what I want or is there a different one for the CB shorts? Or, is it possible to just get 3 longer rods to use in my current tool? Of course, later I'd also like to form standard .22 Shorts, too. So I'm a bit confused: What's the best way to go? You can reply to my email address at: [mailto]larry44@gmail.com[/mailto] or just by PM, here.

I received my Maxi #3 last December but, believe it or not, it was only last week that I was able to use if for the first time. I've attached some pix of the tool's effect out of a Single-Six. This was my first time shooting the used Ruger I traded for the day before. I shot at 20' from the bench with wrists rested, using a 6 o'clock hold. Here's the first group; note the Blazer group in the red:

Then I shot the 5 rounds I formed the night before on the .223 side, all with dish rod and 2 with scorpion and 3 with nastinose:

Then I shot 5 rounds similarly formed from the .224 side; same hold:

Helluva difference! I can't wait to actually learn how to use the tool better and try it with different ammo in all my .22's!

And just for grins, here are some photos of Janet on her first day at the range:

Looking forward to your answer concerning what to do for CB Shorts. Thanks! And glad to be on your forum!

Hobie, I believe the e-mail tab has to be enabled in the individuals profile, I think the default is to not allow.

Sorry, I was looking as somebody else and did see the icon. I checked and no, you can't e-mail him.

He will respond, eventually. An idea is to send REAL mail to him. He'll likely get it in about 4 days and I know he'll get back with you ASAP.
Sincerely,

Hobie

Thanks for the posts on your results with the accurizing tool.

I wish he made one for .44 Mag (even for bullets and not loaded rounds) so I could 'bump up' all the cast and jacketed bullets I have for my .44 Magnum Marlins and Rossis, so they will be the .499 or whatever their horribly oversize bores require (actually, I think .432 works).

Thanks, everyone, for your advice! Paco's replied to my PM and the order is all worked out. I'll post more results in a proper thread when I get more targets punched and especially when I get my .22 Short tool.

Thanks, too for the comments about Janet!

Special P.S. to Old Savage - what bug?
