The New Swine Flu Vis-a-Vis The VA
I just called and the vaccine they gave last fall is not helpful for this current outbreak. Yeah, I don't like those shots, either, but as you age it don't hurt to be careful. The pee-new-monia shot is always an excellent and it's good for years and years. Really old people like Joe Miller and Hobie should not hesitate to get their shots.....

Doc made me get the p-numoniya shot while back. Wonder if it will combat the 'numoniya connected with this current pig flu??

The pneumonia shot helps prevent both bacterial and viral pneumonia. I saw my VA doc today and she said the same thing about this years flu shot. However she also said that there are NO reported cases of swine flu in Washington State, yet.

Hmmm... I may need to check my records. I get a special pneumonia shot every 5 years or so. One of the strains is lethal to me since I lost my spleen in a car accident a quarter century ago (when Jeremy was about 7, and Joe and Hobie had just turned 100!
