I do believe that the actual price may be less than the "suggested" retail price on the site. Don't be surprised to find these guns at less than a thousand bucks.

Re: PUMA 1886

I have never used the lyman, but, I have marbles on a '92, '86, and '85 and like the windage adjustment. They sometimes need adjustment to stiffen staff looseness. I said I have shot 3 consecutive 3/4" grps at 100yds.They got to be pretty good.

Here's a pic, I'll post better when the sun shines
Re: PUMA 1886
Probably not too difficult. The buttstock from the 1886 Winchester/Miroku EL would work without any serious work. If I do buy a rifle, that is exactly what will happen to it. The crescent stock will be tossed in the burn pile.Rusty wrote:I wonder how hard it would be to change it over to a shotgun style but plate?

OK I'm in trouble now. Jr. saw this post and he keeps thinking of something really nice that I can get him for his 21st birthday. It looks like this is the ticket. But then I can't say as I blame him.
What's the word on when these will be for sale?
