.454 Puma ?
Anyone ever seen a .454 Puma with a cheek piece installed on top of the stock ? Like you might see on a scoped rifle ?
God bless

Not from the factory. Have you got one of these badboys Wyr? I just picked up another one, a 16" stainless. Also have one blued with 20" barrel, really like both of them. Lotta power in light easy to carry package. Used my 44 mag Puma to take a few deer in the past, and have one in 357 with the 24" Oct. barrel. All 4 are keepers for sure. DP

Yeah, I saw one in the store yesterday. I was amazed at how thin the barrel was with that big hole in it. And even more scary, they had dovetailed the front sight in the barrel, rather than putting it on the barrel band. I like the idea of a .480 but not the way they did it.
Why not a 50-state secession?

Are you concerned that it will blow out. The pressure at the muzzle is considerably less than at the chamber.PaulB wrote:Yeah, I saw one in the store yesterday. No. It's more like I'm concerned I will lay the gun down on its front sight, or bump it, and the sight will bulge into the bore. Are you concerned that it will blow out.
