Terry Murbach ?
Wanted to see how your recovery was going. Been seeing you around here a bit lately so I assume you are doing better.

I AM DOING BETTER, SIR. STILL A BIT WEAK IN THE KNEES BUT ALL THE INCISIONS HAVE HEALED AND THE OPEN WOUND THEY SENT ME HOME WITH HAS NOW CLOSED TOO. I AM STILL ABOUT AS WORTHLESS AS THEY COME, CANNOT LIFT ANYTHING OVER TEN LBS, CANNOT SHOVEL THE SHIQLOAD OF SNOW WE HAVE, AND HAVE ONLY BEEN DOWN TO THE GUNROOM AND LOADING ROOM ONCE IN THE PAST TWO MONTHS.
I APPRECIATE YOUR THINKING OF ME, MR. REED.

Re: Terry Murbach ?
Terry,
I am glad to hear that you are getting better. Now that the open wound has healed you should start getting some energy back. I had that same operation when I was 44 years old...some 13 years ago. I wonder how much weight loss you have had...I dropped about 45 pounds. The surgeon suggested eating a gallon of ice cream a week to gain it back. That worked! Keep getting a walk in everyday, it helps.
Best wishes for your recovery!

Re: Terry Murbach ?
GLAD TO HEAR YOU ARE HEALING UP, AND TAKING YOUR TIME TO DO SO CORRECTLY. IT CAN BE MADDENING, BUT IF YOU PUSH IT TOO SOON, IT WILL BE WORSE!
Re: Terry Murbach ?
Glad to hear you are healing up even if its going a bit slower then you would like. Keep with the Doc's advice and you will heal just fine.

Re: Terry Murbach ?
Glad to hear you're still lurking around. Like YK said, don't push yourself too hard too fast... been there, done that... recovering from that wasn't fun!

Re: Terry Murbach ?
Good news. Healing after major surgery is a slow and painful process. Sounds like you're taking it slow, which you should do. I understand the frustration. You'll be back to your ole self before you know it.
