45-70 Brass

Re: 45-70 Brass
Dont take this as gospel as I have never tried it, but I think there are limitations on shipping overseas on reloading components and a lot of shooting sports related gear.
Best to contct one of the suppliers here. Maybe midwayusa.com or Wideners or similar company. They will know what epxort forms etc are required and if required.
Where abouts in west susex are you?. I am from Lancing.....escaped in 1986.

Re: 45-70 Brass
Hey Tusker,
Midway UK lists it as in stock:
http://www.midwayuk.com/apps/ebrowse.ex ... 0+***+9013+***
USA companies need an export license for brass, although some (Cabelas) don't seem to bother. You could email those good guys at Buffalo Arms and ask them - they ship stuff to me in the UK.If you find a US company that will ship internationally you can save money by having me pay direct from my US bank account and then you transfer the cash in UKL into my UK account. Don't forget that you will get caught for duty, clearance charges and VAT so at the current exchange rate it might not be economic to import.
BTW, if you crave some levergun action we have a western competition shoot on May 16-17 at our range at Wrotham in Kent. You can't use a 45-70 but we can loan you something smaller. PM me if interested.
