ot-single six gets a new holster

Post by pokey »

having a problem with photobucket. went around the bush a different
direction. so here is the post i tried to post last night, there was a post
a few days ago by modoc ed about a new holster for his bearcat it got
me to thinking about the single six i recently purchased. i had no decent
leather to pack it in, sooo.... out came the leather work box, i really like
this type of holster for around the place, in the brush or ahorseback.

That is a great looking holster - really fits the character of the gun. I am looking at a three screw 22 tomorrow night, holster wear, 22lr only - $250.

What do you charge for an item like that?

Hope all goes well and you get the piece.

I have a RSS/3S, lovely piece.

Tomorrow is Double Duece day at the range for me. I'll be shooting only my 22's.
Since primers are in short supply, 22's keep my trigger finger happy.
Yesterday I ordered 2000 CCI #10 Caps for the Pietta 51/44 Navy C&B. This Summer I will be saving the primers. Shooting the C&B's & 22's.
Graf's is totally out of Primers & most powders. I even tried to buy 44 mag brass, none in stock. Lucky they had Starline 44-40, I bought 500.

Hey there Pokey - Nice job. That always seems to be an issue. Get a new pistol, then ya need a new holster. Oh yeah, it's a different caliber so now ya need a new belt with the correct cartridge loops. Now that you've got the cartridge loops, maybe you should get a rifle to match in that caliber.....It's that whole kneebone connected to the thighbone thing. Watch yer top knot. Wind.

Great job on the holster Pokey. Does it have a hammer thong? Didn't see one in the pictures.

nope, i could add one pretty easily, but the gun shows no intentions of jumping out.
it fits pretty snug, and is fitted, also the pistol sits deep. i have several like this[ one or
more for each sa] , and several pancake style [ like simply rugged] that do not have straps
or thongs.
