Dating a Winchester M94

Anyone tll what year that a M94 30/30 with a serial# 3697795 was produced?
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

250 Savage... its what the 223 wishes it could be...!

Thanks for all your advice. Not gonna date her tho, she dont like sand, salt or surf. On top of that she is way to young.. :)

Naah, no danger of that. Unless some no good so and so were to tip her off. In reality, we have a very good way of joking with each other about that kind of thing. She would just laugh at me and give me one of those "yeah, you wish" looks. :wink:
