Prayer request - update

Post by Ysabel Kid »

Thank you all for your prayers for my cousin's son, Timothy.

http://www.levergunscommunity.com/viewt ... =1&t=15274

Unfortunately, Timothy didn't make it, passing away last night. We found out today. Your prayers are still needed and very much appreciated though. Timmy is with our God now and at peace. His parents though - my cousin (his Mom), her husband, and his brother, are going through a living you-know-what, and could sure use your continued prayers.

I know members here have lost children, and I pray for them daily. I can think of no greater pain or sorrow in this life than a parent having to bury their child. I'm really at a loss for words, but again, appreciate your prayers and those to come.

That is SO sad! I've got 4 kids of my own, age 16 down to 4. That is probably my greatest fear, losing one of them. I can't even imagine the PAIN your family is going thru. Let them know you've got a bunch of friends that send their condolences. I'm so sorry to hear.

You know it reminds me of a story I read about Stonewall Jackson related by one of his staff Henry Kyd Douglass. He was staying in a home for a couple of weeks during the war. He made friends with the little girl that lived there. She died of sickness, probably from having those soldiers around her home, a couple of weeks after the Confederate army moved on. When General Jackson heard, he SHED TEARS! Here was a General who had to order men into battle, to their deaths, passed death sentences on deserters and never blinked and the death of a child softened him to the core!

Life that ends after years of enjoyment really isn't sad, and life that ends after many bleak years can be a blessing, but life lost in children before they even have a chance to do anything is a tragedy.

I will continue prayers for the family. We lost a 38 year old daughter six years ago and without our Lord and Saviour we could not have handled it.
We know that the little one God takes are with Him.

Very sorry Jay.

I can't imagine losing a child. I had a cousin pass in his sleep at 33 for unknown reasons.
Even at 33 I think it aged my Aunt and Uncle ten years over night.
Fifteen years later there's still a sadness about them.

My condolences for you and the family.

Prayers continue for your family. We have seen first hand the difficulty in losing a child of that age...
