My 11 year old shot a Zebra today!

Post by AJMD429 »

Well, sort of....

The weather was nice for a change, so we took a few minutes and went out back, and used the Ruger 96/22 to shoot at animal crackers. They make fun targets at about 10 yards, using a red dot scope. Set them in clumps of grass and go for a 'safari'! Fun with air rifles and pistols too.

In maybe 20 minutes we did in alot of exotic 'wildlife' and made some bird food, for about $2.00...

Something to remember when you take a kid shooting with a .22 or airgun - which is ALWAYS a good thing to do.

Do you need a "Dough Permit" to shoot crackers?

A great idea, the kid must have loved it!
