Au revoir, mes amis...

Post by RSY »

My family is entering some dire financial straits as we speak, and I need to spend as many waking moments, as possible, trying to find a way to literally keep the lights on and food on the table for my wife and two girls.

I'll still lurk, now and then, and may even chime in if I see someone about to put 55 grains of Re-7 in a .30-06 case, or similar. Keep the fire fed, but don't chop up my stump for wood.

I joined this forum way back in March of 2003 when it was first fired up, and it has provided me some great camaraderie, learning and experiences. It means a lot to me, and I truly hope to see y'all in greener pastures.

Vaya con dios, amigos.

Scott,

Don't go away. Stick around. The guys on this forum have helped me mentally, spiritually, and even financially. We need you, and I think you need us too.

Hang in there, I do know what financial distress is.

I hate to hear that.
Unfortunately I'm afraid it's going to be happening more and more to people we know ( or sorta know).

Take care of yourself and your family the best you can and be well.

Get yourself a library card ( I think most are online these days), check in once and a while and let us know how you're doing.

God bless you and your family in this time of trial. I truly believe that the worst is yet to come for America. My prayers are with you.

I'd suggest that you try and keep your place by the fire, if for no other reason than the moral support your mates on here can give you.

This is also a good place to stop and recharge your batteries for a little while at the end of a long day stomping through the badlands that the world out there is becoming.

Good luck.
Bob

Everyday I wake up and wonder whether or not I will still have a job by the end of the day. Fortunately I am primarily compensated by a commission which helps the company, but now they are putting a cap on my monthly commission(boss says we will negotiate the difference every 90 days, yea right, just give me what you owe me!). SO, hang in there Scott, seems like alot of us are either head'n that way or are there too. Last time it was like this, I had to start my own company. Made a go of it for 15 years and sold high, but at my age I do not know if I could do that all over again.
