Ah Its not the bullets orientation in flight its that the round is falling close to 5" for every forward foot of travel that gives it the angle. One would be shot in the chest the other in the gut. Either way they both died do to instant lead poisoning.
I tried to recreate the temp and guessed at the altitude and humidity for the shot take a look at the time in the table and the drop @ 1100 yards.
