I can't tell from your photos but, do Henrys have the two small holes on the left, rear, top of their receivers to mount receiver sights?

This Henry has a grooved receiver so will take these clamp-on type receiver peeps. Front sight more difficult to replace.

Congratulations on a real good Fun Gun :D If I didn't have two Winchesters and a Savage I would get me one of those Big Loop Carbines.
If you check out Rimfire Central at, rimfirecentral.com They have a forum dedicated to Henry Repeating Arms where changing sights is nearly always a topic. Ganjiro's suggestions for a rear sight are the way to go.

Congrats.I believe you can order a factory steel frontsight from Henry to replace the issue plastic one.Gamekeeper is wise to direct you to rimfire Central.

Congrats! These are very fun little guns! :D

IIRC, someone here posted on replacing the front sight with a fiber optic one. As Ji noted, not straightforward, but it can be done.

This Williams (WM-96) peep uses the issue (height) front sight for a good zero.
I painted the front sight blade tip BRIGHT SIGHTS orange .

You can indeed get a metal front sight and barrel band from Henry Arms. Just give them a call and they'll fix you up.

I have a set here on my desk that's destined for my grandson's youth model Henry.

i have the same exact model as u (original poster) and mine is very accurate with the original open sights. If i install a peep i imagine my shots would all go into 1 hole.

well, it looks cool, but is not as fast or comfortable to shoot, for me at least. I only bought the large loop model because i didn't have any LL lever guns. I wouldn't want one on my centerfire leverguns because i like the stability and speed of having the lever right against my hand when shooting. and i would say i have larger than average hands. A Glock 21 fits my hand fairly well.
