I really liked it, both the old version and the new.

I liked the movie, although I've heard the older version is even better. What I liked about the new one (with Russel Crowe) was the authentic period firearms, including Schofields, and a Spencer.

I've seen the new one. It was a great movie, but I didn't really care for the ending. Need to see the original now.

It wasn't bad, but not good enough to watch twice or more. That's sort of my "barometer" for how good a movie is. If I'd watch it again, then it was a good one!

Both versions are pretty good, watched the original again a few nights ago.

It was alright, however I feel the old version is better. Thanks, Tom

Different flavors, both good. I liked the ending of the new movie the best.

Rihmfire,
I really liked it. Even bought it. My daughter and I have watched it 3 or 4 times together, so anything that can make her sit down and spend time with the "old guy" must be good

...and I don't think he even knows it...Walks around with a half-assed grin...If he feels fear, he don't show it. Just rides into hell and back again.

I always liked Glenn Ford playing a good guy. He finally lives up to GOOD at the end of the old version, but is out of step with what I liked about him most of that old movie.
oh well. just a movie.

Not to bad (new one). I can't wait for Appaloosa to come out on DVD so I can see it.

It was worth the admission price, and the cinematography was excellent.
