Thank you for all the responses to my post about putting my dog down yesterday. I read all the posts to my son and it really made him feel better about the situation. That is why I like this forum so much. I don't post alot but feel as though I know alot of you personally just from your posts. Thanks again.

This is gonna sound kinda hoky coming from an old codger like me but:

Please tell you son that the feelings he is experiencing now are not only sorrow but love and he should feel proud to have know and loved such a fine dog and friend that Lakota was.
