New furniture for the .375 Marlin

Post by 1886 »

I ordered some new wood for the Marlin .375. It was worth the wait as the butt is pretty remarkable. The forearm is nice but nothing special. I spent some time removing the original finish and applying the tung oil but the results seem to be worth it. The gun is wearing a scope only because I am doing a little load development. I will take it out tommorrow with the 94 Big Bore .375. Here are the pics.

Looks good. That is nice grain in the butt.
