Win .25-35, Finally

Post by pshort »

Howdy Gang,
I went to town to go to the dentist today, thought I'd swing by the local gun emporium on the way home. Of course y'all know I was much delayed because I found my long-looked-for mint Winchester .25-35... Serial dates it to 1950. Regular looking '94 with 20" bbl, but really nice shape. I'm so happy that I could just ...uh... you know....!
Anyway, does anyone have a set of .25-35 dies for sale? I was searching for the recent run of .25-35 info but "search" came up zero...
Hopefully, I'll get out to shoot it really soon... No local stores have any .25-35...

Sounds like a great rifle. specially after the dentist. Lee has 25/35 dies for $23 oerbuy a .25cal neck sizer and use 30/30 dies to size the web. Hope to hear about your range report with it soon
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

250 Savage... its what the 223 wishes it could be...!

You lucky dog! That's one that I'd sure like to have. They are real tough to come by around here also. When you do see one they are usually in tough shape.

Congratulations! I'd go with the Lee dies, but get them from MidwayUSA. They carry most of the Lee stuff cheaper than Lee sells it direct! :D
