For Old Savage, Jag, JDL rifle pics

Post by WCF3030 »

Pics of my MicPherson Marlin 30-30. I'll do more later when my camera gets back.
Had the barrel shortened to 17 5/8 in. Stock and forearm replaced. 2 inches off the stock & a Recoil pad, silicon bedded, trigger and action, XS sights and scope rail.
Saved my pennies up for a year and had several conversations with Mic before before he started on the rifle.
Moa with open sights and at least 1/2 moa with my 2x bsa scope. That has been with any round including my 173gr cast which is all I have used in this rifle for the last 18 months.
Shoulders and tracks like a dream, I could not ask for a better rifle.

Happiness is a good rifle, good kids, and a good buck hangin' in a tree in the yard. Great photos of all! I won't comment on the hunting attire  .
