Just wondering what others have on their Christmas list..... Me, I was hoping Santa would bring a Trapper for me this year (any caliber), but I strongly suspect I'm on the wrong list.
An Uberti-made 1876 Centennial Saddle Ring Carbine in 45-60 WCF with a REAL color cased receiver and rust-blued barrel. While you are at it, throw in some deluxe walnut Baring that, I'd settle for an original Winchester to the same specs.....

Don't know what would be on my wants list, but I know what's going to be under my tree Just bought a Norinco 1887 lever 12g to play around with. Won't be here before Christmas, but it should be here before the tree is down.
Well, since Santa has endless means, I'll take a Marlin 1881 Deluxe, engraved, medium frame 38-55, with a mid-range vernier sight and a windage adjustable front globe.

Not Depressed enough yet? Go read National Geographic, July 1976 Gott und Gewehr mit uns!
A customized Rossi Trapper in .357, tricked out to the max by Steve Young...it won't be here for Christmas but all good things take time! One of these days I will post pics of my dream Rossi.

I want one in 22Hornet but I don't think ol' Santa gonna come through for me In fact she told me "No More Guns" I think a lone tear ran down my cheek When she said it to.
With a .45cal entrance wound I don't worry too much about bullet expansion.
I would just love a Savage 99A, 20 inch barrel in 250-3000, with full engraving, exhibition, feathercrotch wood, jeweled bolt, with custom receiver sights. How about that wish SANTA?????????? Art
A '92 Win TD DeLuxe chambered for .44-40 with a 20" barrel and 2/3 Magazine...they actually made almost 10k of 'em between '95 and 1915. Need it to replace my Great Grandpa's that finally gave out a few years ago, the receiver cracked by the locking lug.
A tuned 26" M94 in 30 WCF with good wood, a steel Lyman, a limitless supply of of clean WW, and a few crates of primers and powder. Front sight to be figured out later.

A 1970s era .444 Marlin I guess. A Marlin Cowboy with a 20" barrel would be nice.

A brand-spanking-new US made no safety, top ejecting, half-cock Winchester 94 rifle in 30-30 that is as well finished and as smooth as my Legendary Frontiersmen....

See, I've already got it in my signature line.

I actually have one of them, sort of - the older ones with a bit longer barrel. The one thing I HATE about mine is that the scout scope mount is slightly off-center rotation-wise, and even when the screws are torqued down well, the thing shifts. There's supposed to be an indentation it keys onto with a set screw, but since it is off center, I tried making a new one but my precision machinist skills aren't good enough - so now it just tilts to the other side!
I'm not sure I really like a 'scout' scope anyway - the Bushnell Holosight is nice in that application, but can just as well be mounted further rearward on the ordinary side-attach scope mount.

hey Blackhawk. If you get one you're gonna love it. Got mine and haven't touched my match rifle since.
Just make sure yo put a scope on it.. the heat from That mount will take the skin offf your hand after a couple mags!
I asked for Gander Mountain gift cards for my b-day and Christmas this year. I'm about half way to the Marlin 94 Cowboy/ 45 colt I want

Marlin guide gun in 45-70, or a Winchester 1876 in the same caliber. I'd take either one but I don't think it's going to happen this year

I'd really like to have my dad's never-been-fired 1957 Model 94 NRA Commemorative. Of course, I'd probably do something stupid like put a Soule creedmore tang sight on it and run a dozen or so boxes of ammo through it...
I couldn't ask for more than the 38-55 thats in the corner now. few people will ever know how the 94 Winchester was origanally made and this one in the second Year of production is certinaly an example of it.
I will always want more, but Santa Was Very,Very Good to Me this Year.Jim.
a slightly used 1895 src new model 30-06 that someone butchered the barrell to 19", so santa could by it dirt cheap. 1887 shotgun repro. .22 casehardened peacemaker 4/58".
