Redfield Apperture Sight

Post by Huntinfool »

I have a Redfield app. sight that bolts on the side of the receiver it was on my Marlin 39 A. Just wondering what those things are worth? I put a scope on her and was thinking of selling it!

They are $5. Let me know where to send the money....

Seriously, with mounting screws you should be able to $50 even with only 80% finish remaining.

Really depends on which model of Redfield. Is it the target version, with click adj. knobs, or the hunter version with screw adj.?

I sold one that wasn't quite that nice, on ebay, about 6 months ago. It sold for $96. $85-$100 is about normal now. The hunter or target models that 39A's are not that common.
I know a whole lot about very little and nothing about a whole lot.

Prices have gone up quite a bit. Still, that is a nice sight. If I had another Mountie waiting in the wings I'd probably buy it for that.

If anybody decides to buy this sight from him, I will vouch for his credibility. I was the one that recommended he ask you guys. I knew you guys would know. Tom.

They are 6-48 and most any gun-shop should have a few. I do, too and I'll trade you a couple for the sight...

Seriously, if you can't find any locally, drop me a PM with your snail mail address and I'll put a couple out to you.

Hobie
