Sorry for the delay in posting. I have been nursing my mule all week and just getting the chance to post some pics. Well, Steve really did a great job on this one. 20" stainless gun, bead blasted action and barrel and tube mag, bright two tone finish on reloading gate, hammer, WWG oversize loop, butt plate, sling swivels and bands. Action job and topped off with a target knob rear peep and nice post front sight with rear dove tail filled in. Removed the ugly safety too. Anyway, this one is riding with me now since election day, stoked with Remington 180 grain JHP .357 ammo. I have not shot it, though I have laser bored the sights and they seem to be spot on for across house ranges. I will shoot it this weekend. I have fed though it my reloads, four types of factory ammo and several types of bullets. I am one happy camper. Pictured with it is the Bisley Ruger New Model .357 in stainless I picked up to go with this one. Back to the reloading bench.

Well, durn... I wonder where you got the idea for Bead Blasted Stainless from...
You might just want to start selling off your other guns now. This one will be your favorite very soon...
Where did you get the target knobs for your FP?

Mike was kind enough to let me check out this slick little SRC .357. The work on the action definately has to be tried to understand how well Steve Young does his "magic". When I saw it, my first response to Mike was " I see your a traveller". Him and I share the same views on truck guns. His is so nice I think I'll have one done up very similar. VERY handy and slick as snot on a door knob.
Thanks again, Tom

Congrats. Steve sure does nice work. Enjoy it , and let us know how it does. Also, very appropriate for election day!

have to admit that I drooled over yours when you have posted on it before. The duel tone was really determined by the parts selection. The swivels, I was told, along with the safety plug, don't take the bead blasting to the same color so Steve suggested the duel tone. I am well pleased. For what I wanted it for, It will be my favorite rifle. It has become my "truck" rifle and my beside the bed rifle. I am taking it out into the field for sight in and some fox calling/hunting this evening.
