POLITICS - What Thomas Paine would say...

Post by Ray Newman »

The most important aspect of this signature line is that you don't realize it doesn't say anything significant until you are just about done reading it & then it is too late to stop reading it....

I don't usually respond to political posts, in fact this is the first time I have done so. But this one is particularly good and I really enjoyed it. Thanks for posting it! :D

Hoorah......Kinda makes you want to sing Yankee Doodle Dandy.....

I don't usually forward stuff, but I had to email that one.

Stunning.

Imagine if instead of the lame politicians we listen to nowdays, one of them would have the gonads to deliver THAT speech...

20% of the population would be offended and go ballistic, but the other 80% might actually vote for the guy/girl.

As OI pointed out in another post, I'm quite sure Thomas Paine would repeat one of his previous well-known quotes: "If there must be trouble, let it be in my day, that my child may have peace."

Updated, "If the market must adjust, and we all take lumps to our house values and 401k's, let us do it now rather than hand down another trillion dollars of debt - and a further socialized economy - to our children."
