uBERTI 73 IN 22LR RANGE REPORT

Got the Uberti 73 22lr in the mail this week, I must say I was real pleased with it.It has a few minor stock marks that make me believe it spent most of its life as a safe queen.The action feels and looks like it has been barely fired.Took it to the range today and spent the afternoon plinking away with it.Action was smooth and it never failed to fire and was scary accurate though I think the bull type barrel on it has something to do with it.

Forgot to mention went to a gun show before I went to the range.Saw a nice Marlin 81 and a couple of Win 76s and a NEW HK 770 IN 308 went and followed me home.Not that I really need it but the price was to good to pass up.

I have a Uberti 1873 rifle in 38-40 and it is very accurate. I would like to get one in .22LR some day. Nice find! :D

Loads through a sliding port in the tube like other rimfires,holds about 15 rounds.Also it has the trapdoor door in the butt stock.

My Uberti 1866 is also "scary accurate." Mine is a carbine, like yours, so the barral is heavy because it is a 22 caliber. My take is Uberti put some very good barrels on these things!

what did that HK 770 set you back? i have one of those and it is really excellent!

Hi
I paid $900 for the HK and it came with the HK claw scope mount.The gun looks like it might of been fired only a few times no marks on it at all.

man, that was a steal!! i have seen them bring closer to 2000.00 in that condition! great buy! they are very accurate and fun to shoot.
