Reloading in Dallas

Post by DavidF »

Hey all,
First time to post in a long while but I check in most days and have been a member for a couple years now.
I am wanting to start reloading for my cimarron .45 SAA, and I am wondering if anyone can recommend a shop in the DFW area that stocks reloading equipment. I am specifically looking for the Lee hand press or their classic reloader sets. I will order from MidwayUSA if I have to but I leave for a 4 day hunting/camping/shooting trip over new years and I would like to start working up a round over the Christmas holiday. Any thoughts.

What reloading equip do you need? Since they're east of town, McClelland's in Dallas nr Garland and Southwest Ammo in Mesquite get the majority of my biz for non-mailorder stuff. Most tools & hardware I mailorder.

The Sportsmans Warehouse in Lewisville has a good supply of tools and components for reloaders - worth checking out.

David;
Is there not a Gander Mountain near you? In some town to the east, I think. Might check that out on their web site before you drive an hour or more north or west. Sorry I did not notice you are in Midlothian before.
Good luck.

You might also try Ray's Sporting on Singleton.

Hello DavidF,

your address says Midlothian. I seem to remember an Alpine shooters supply that is between you and FortWorth. I googled them and found that their shooting range is still there. You might call them and see if they still sell reloading supplies.

I'm in the Dallas area. You could bring your components up here and load some if you get in a big hurry and don't find your own equipment.
