I was thinking that if that fella had used a little CLP and cleaned his guns regular like, he prolly wouldn'ta needed that fancy bore scope...

Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.

History teaches that it's a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.

...well, the "Tackdriver" footage makes me wonder what a polished bore would do for accuracy. That barrel was rough, although there was a pattern to the roughness: inline from breech to muzzle. :!:

That scope would be helpful for my "Vet Home-study Course: Dog & Cat 101"!

Yes, very interesting. I always wondered what it looked like to use a bore scope.

A guy once told me I should never look down the bores of my rifles with one of these things as it would make me throw them all in the lake!! :o Still, I think it would be neat to have one if only they weren't so pricey!

A smart gunsmith should get one, have it up in front of the store, and might get customers to request more of his services, or could have them pay $5 to use it and look at their own guns in the store.

I agree with Hagler, the tackdriver one was very poor compared to a precision barrel.
I spent many an hour looking through a borescope inspecting cannon barrels while in the army. 600 shots is the limit for the life of the big gun on the M60 tank and many would flunk the pullover gauge test with as little as 400 rounds fired. Those bores looked like the bottom of a river. High velocity eats barrels fast. :o

400-600 rounds? And they say .22-250 is a throat eater...

There would have to be some sort of screening process or deposit, 'cause it would only take one bubba to change that borescopes life forever..... :(
