Steel and metal targets online

Post by AndyM »

A while back there were some posts on metal and steel rifle targets. I should have book marked the links within those posts, but did not. Can the same people who provided the links as to where to purchase online metal rifle targets, please do so again?

I am thinking about purchasing some type of metal target or gong for my father-in-law for his shooting range. We often talked about having some sort of metal gong at on his 100 yard range.

Thanks...

See if you can find an old disc plow disc. A friend of mine found one about 20" in diameter and we shoot at it at 200 yards.

Highly recommend metaltargets.com, the 500 brinnel high velocity round swingers version.

Our range went to these for the pistol and rifle range. The high velocity plates are bolted on, and different size plates are available. Ya do need to replace the attachment bolts with hardened bolts.

The plates hold up very well, even to military surplus 7.62x39,223 and 308 at 100 yards. They are not recommended for anything above 3000 fps.

Also recommend their target stands for portability. However several direct hits in same place will disjount the stand.
