What the heck happend, I posted a reply right after the picture.
Oh well, Its a 30/30 made in 1908. Bore is bright and shiney.
The peep is a lyman #2A .
I traded my 1925 vintage 30/30 eastern carbine and 200 Bucks for the Rifle. Meaning I am in it about 825.00.
The fellow I traded with had my carbine on his table for 1200,00 within minites of the trade.
I wonder if he knows somthing I don't.
I think the rifle is probaly worth 1200.00 to 1350.00 , but who is tho say.
Its worth owning, thats for sure. I,m quite happy with the rifle and the deal. Can't wait to shoot it !!!

Usually those dealers try to get that stuff back on the market fast, and always put a higher price on them so they can take a lesser offer and get what they need out of it. Looks like you did great, IMHO as I like rifles over carbines myself!
