I have't been frequenting this forum very long.My recent heart bypass has caused me to sit longer at the computer than I used to do.Sooo,I start looking around for other forums and found this one.I hung around and read for awhile and posted finally a couple times.
I gotta say that this little two section forum is one of the best on the internet due to the good knowledgeable people who frequent here.Everybody here seems to get along and mainly stay on course.I really admire and appreciate that.
Since the heart bypass surgery I have had to kinda re-ascess my wants and desires to coincide with my present and future physical condition.This caused a reevaluation of my gun safe contents.Some of the higher recoiling stuff is out of the question so I have started a gradual clean out/selling process.My results have been good in posting items on this forum because I have met and dealt with some mighty good folks ,gotten rid of some rifles and accessories which will benefit others and best of all,made some new friends here.
The clean out will continue gradually.I just don't want too much going on at one time.
Mainly just wanted to say thanks for being such great people here.

While I arrived a couple years ahead of Stan, I gotta "ditto" what he said, (except the heart trouble), some mighty fine folks here, and have neglected to tell some of that, So here's my tellin' ya.

And Stan, thank you for putting inta words what I've thought almost all along.

I'm glad you wanted to sell that Ruger 96/44 :mrgreen: , but don't sell off too much too fast - your health may improve more than you expect and you don't want to sell something you can't replace.

Leverguns is the only forum I check whenever I can. And, it's about the only forum I go to.
