Browning 71 Matched Sets

Post by Dave H. »

Does anyone know how many of the Browning 71 Rifle/Carbine matched sets were produced or when they were produced? Both guns have the same serial numbers with one containing a "C" for carbine and the other an "R" for rifle. Were they available in High Grade as well as Grade 1?

Thanks for any help!

IIRC they were available in both grades. Can't remember how many were made.
