Way, Way WAY OT - Is "Pirates of the Caribbean" 3.

Post by Ysabel Kid »

...worth getting? On DVD, that is? The family enjoyed the first two installments, and we have them on DVD. I can't believe it, but we just didn't make it out to see the third one while it was in the theater. I've heard some folks say it wasn't that good. I know we'll eventually get it, but the question is should I wait until it comes down to below $10 (probably another 6 months), or pick it up for the holidays?

Pirates III

YK - bought it via the two disk version at blockbuster, got a $5 gift cert with it. Yes, its worth it. If you enjoyed the first two, the third is a must.

Thanks! Let me know if you don't get it by Tuesday. I did mail it Friday, but via snail-mail. This time of year that probably wasn't the brightest move!!!

Just finished watching it.
Little weird, good flick though.
Has kieth Richards in it.
That which does not kill me has made a grave tactical error.

Didn't think it was as good as the second one, definitely not as good as the first. But if you've seen the first two it's worth watching.

I thought it sucked, but I'll buy the DVD anyway because I have the others.

Not to side track ya there YK but if ya have HBO see if their still playin' the movie DOMINO. It's Keira Knightley playing a bounty hunter (not for kids).

Not the best movie I've ever seen but I love when actors/actresses play totally different roles and are good at both.

I'll have to try to find it. I'm too cheap to pay for the premium channels. If I could get the History Channel and a few others, I'd ditch cable altogether!!! :D

We just rented it. Had fun watching it. I love watching Johnny Depps odd ball swaggering character. He's a hoot.

+1 what TedH said. The FX are out of this world. I found it a little long
winded, hard to keep interested in it.

Regards,
I didn't fail the test, I just found 100 ways to do it wrong.
