Hog Hunting in Alaska
This may sound like a strange question, When one thinks of hunting in alaska most talk of hunting large dangerous game. Could someone tell me what kind of wild hogs are found in alaska if their are any. If so, where do they live/feed and do folks there hunt them.

They have Wild Boar in Siberia so they should do just fine climate wise in Alaska but I have never heard of any introductions of "Roosians" to the 49th state.

TH, I was stationed in Fairbanks for 3 years when I was in the army and as far I know there are no hogs in the whole state. But I could be wrong, just ask my wife!!! Dave

Don't ever recall anyone talking about feral hog while I lived there. Only Boars & Sows we ran into were Bruins.
I'd guess the only loose hogs up there are farm excapees... and are not likely to survive the winter.
