Anybody mount a scout or pistol scope on a Rossi single shot

I have two SS Rossi .357 Leveractions and recently found a stainless Rossi .357 single shot to go with them. I am thinking of cutting it down to 16" and put a scout scope or a long eye relief pistol scope. On another forum I was informed that a T/C weaver mount will fit NEF's but was wondering if anybody here has done the same to a Rossi single shot? Thanks

Didn't go the scout scope route but LOVE the cut down 16" barrel and peep sight, check this out:
