looking at getting a 44 mag in 4" bbl. preferably a smith. will shoot 44 specials but want the mag option. have a nice 629 smith i did a great trigger job on (for once) from 1980s but of course my son claimed it.

those are nice for sure but at 3lbs i'd have to get a pack mule to carry it

JB, your price on the model 69 is attractive indeed and I would be seriously interested if I didn't have over a dozen .44 mags already.
