Still Rockin' After All These Years (live performance)

Post by Old No7 »

On gamekeeper's recent birthday wishes post, I'd responded saying I'd been "busy with my band preparing for 2 sets we'll perform at a music festival" -- so without further adieu, here's a couple of videos (out of 5) for songs that we played at a pub in the Old Port. They're a crappy iPhone recordings, and the mic is really sensitive to the keys (at the expense of hearing the guitars and vocals more); but our drummer collects the videos from all band member's family from around the room and mixes the audio later to get the best mix. This is the best we have, for now.

Just showing that this 'ol man can still rock it -- to the Foo Fighters and The Who.

Enjoy!

Most entertaining !

Makes me wish I had stuck with the piano lessons of 1974.

On the middle grandson's toy three-string guitar that he has outgrown and lost interest in, I've learned five chords and have had the opportunity to play three of those chords.....

Music is a great way of reaching out to people. Those poor souls who do not listen to music are missing too much. I listen to almost everything except for hip-hop, Taylor Swift, and rap. The Who, Billy Idol's Postcards From The Past, D'Artagnan, Pamplemoose, Nightwish, Jim Reeves, The Ventures, and Chopin are all in my current playlist.

For those who speak it, yes the band Pamplemoose did misspell the word. Still, naming your band after a fruit is a cool idea.
