Griff, that hotel was built in 1872, and a host of colorful characters of the Old West have stopped there for refreshment. I was last there 15 or more years ago, and cannot recall how many bullet holes are in the original tin ceilings, but seems to me more than seven.

Yes there are a number of stories of gunfire in the saloon area.
