Thats wonderful! No conflict of interest & thinking, when we or anyone realizes the "Blessing of Going Home!" Im sure glad to hear it, cause we all can use his input, for our home here, still and for long time yet!

He was walking without a cane. Seems to have his balance and control.
But as you might expect, he is having a hard time sleeping in the unit. He’s looking forward to sleeping in his own bed.
He says the prayers a definitely working and asks that we keep it up.

That's great news! I bet it is tough to sleep in a hospital room! I know I've only done it twice and begged to be sent home so I could sleep better!

No cane is a good thing. Glad he is healing. Sometime he will have to realize that it is OK to accept that you are not 24 years old anymore.
It is not really a bad thing to have a cane around. Carrying one when it is not really needed for balance can extend your reach for stuff in a grocery store which is on the top shelf and the regular shelf is empty.
