I hope they follow that eventually with a volcanic rifle in 22lr.It would the closest you could get to 1860 Henry in 22lr

I WANT! I can add it to my stable of .380's. Imagine showing up to the range with a precursor to the Winchester and a Glock 42.

I never thought I would live to see the day that a serious manufacturer offered a Volcanic replica. The cool factor is off the charts.
I hope Uberti will play around with chamberings a bit, though. I see the reasons for the .380 choice, but would much rather have one of the old rimmed numbers like .32 short, .38 S&W. But it may be the Volcanic design does not play well with rimmed cartridges, as it was intended for the Rocketball, which had no rim.
Anyway, hats off to Uberti for trying!

I've had uniformly bad luck with Uberti, but a Volcanic rifle would be tempting.

Howdy,
I asked the Henry folks about this model a few years ago......
They said that they weren't interested in making one ......
It'll be interesting to follow it ...... I hope it works out...
In other words, I probably need one ......

Im very interested to see how they adapted it for use with brass cased ammunition. Im picturing some adaptation of the 1873 extraction and ejection system.

I've owned several Uberti SAA clones including one I bought from Steve Garbe in .45 Colt and Bisley grip frame. Never had an issue with any of their SAA handguns.

Carry piece! Oh yea. Get two of the six inchers, and get a double shoulder holster. Imagine how cool you'd look with that in place you can open carry. Heavy, but with the weight for the cool factor.

the last forty years or so have seen the replication of a whole host of interesting firearms, that i only dreamed about as a young person:

henry rifle, winchester 1866 and 1873, winchester 1886, 1892, 1895 including the legendary 405, and numerous handguns, including richards and mason conversion revolvers, colt open top, schofield top break, many other revolvers, and many other revolvers, sharps rifles, remington rolling blocks, trapdoor rifles, etc, etc.

it is amazing ....never thought i would see any of these come back into production.

i really wish the merwin hulbert was reproduced and the savage revolver that used a lever
