I almost ran over Newt Gingrich as he was walking out of McDonald's at Gettysburg back in around 2003 or so. He stepped in front of me and I had to slam on the brakes. He knew he about messed up but when I saw it was him, I couldn't help but smile. The wife was only concerned that his wife looked a lot younger than him. They got into one of those big black 3/4-ton Chevy SUVs with other people. Just think if I had hit him, I would have been givin the rubber hose treatment.
