Music to ponder as Easter approaches

Post by Bill in Oregon »

One of the very earliest hymns, derived in part from Luke 1:46-55. It was not a part of my mainline Protestant upbringing that I can recall, but it is beautiful, and here, rendered in Aramaic, the language of the Nazarene

Very nice.

Though it's 7 years old, this is one of my new favorites for those moments when I need a "pick-me-up from above"...

I love the lyrics, melody and message on this one -- it just works for me.
