Amazing that horse and rider doesn't fall off the earth riding at that steep angle!

Boys, that’s a donkey. Not a horse.

I rode one quite a bit as a kid.

This photo is a part of a larger photo that had probably 12 mules in my home town many years ago.

Donkeys have very distinct personalities. I frankly think they are smarter than a horse.

Must be why it doesn't fall off the ground when turned sideways! ;)

I had a burro when I was a youngster. Rode him quite a lot. Cantankerous. Strong Willed. Stubborn. Would lean on you if you were between him and a building. Bite. Once when I was saddling him he reached back and bit my leg. I grabbed his ear and tried to chew a hole in it. He screamed and shook me off, laid down and rubbed his head in the dirt. I don't recall him ever trying to bite me after that.
I sold him to the Dirty Dozen motorcycle gang. They put him in a trailer, drove to where they were having a party, shot him and barbecued him. Fed a lot of people.

Scott I recall you mentioning your height and size and reckon you would do that animal a favor and just tuck it under one arm and take it with you. :D

I wasn’t always this size. And I was a pretty skinny kid.
