Hi,
i tested my new 1876 during 2 days with 300grs plated bullets without having great succes.I switched today to a 420grs bullet (RCBS 405grs GC),alloy 1/2 +2%,.459“,65yards,Ginex LP,Starline brass, 21grs Lovex D060 (5744).10 shots went into 1,1“.Vo 1152fps,SD 8,5 ES 24,6 .The rifle seems to like the heavy bullets!Further tests will follow at the 100 and 200m range.

That is a very nice group! I thought the .45-60 WCF was pretty restricted on overall length in Winchester 1876's and their clones. Any issues going to a heavier bullet?
